We have built a growing global Construction Practice to successfully manage and mitigate the rising complexity of construction projects and their unique risks. Those risks are due to a large number of project stakeholders, high probability of claims that may arise during or after the construction process, and compliance requirements that vary by project type, state and country. Regardless of those complexities, we protect clients through the project’s complete lifecycle.

Our analytical approach includes coverage reviews in areas such as Commercial Liability, Builders Risk, with a focus and expertise in Terrorism and catastrophic risks, Subguard/Subcontractor Default Insurance, Bonds, Environmental Liability and Professional Liability. We ensure that policy terms and limits protect the collateral and lender, and our analysis addresses and resolves significant coverage gaps due to form, carrier and endorsements. We also identify non-insurable material risks and partner with clients’ legal counsel so that proper alternative risk mitigants are in place at the loan closing.
